Individual Therapy
Individual psychotherapy involves 1:1 session between client and therapist, where clients are encouraged to explore their individual strengths and challenges within a safe and accepting space created by their therapist. Sessions are individually tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals. Clients can expect to learn and utilize specific skills and coping strategies in order to achieve their therapeutic goals.
As a pediatric psychologist, some of Dr. Yule’s particular specialties include working with children and adolescents struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, chronic pain, as well as everyday challenges, stressors, and life transitions. Dr. Yule is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback, and Family Systems based therapy approaches. Dr. Yule also has specialized training in working with youth with chronic medical conditions by helping them learn to adjust and manage their condition.
